Another Post About KiD CuDi?!...Sorry this man is just the realest

Kid Cudi talks about his journey as an artist.  How there were no specifics steps he took to make it.  He just took big risks and didn't second guess himself and think "what if I don't make it".  He stopped surrounding himself with doubters.  He worked very hard and stayed in his creAtiVe process 24/7. This is how I've got to think with my acting and music career.  It's time to make moves....

Justice-STRESS

This video came out awhile ago, and my dude Josh a.k.a. Kon Hathaway (who is a Hip Hop producer on his grind) told me I had to check out this video.  So he pulled it up on youtube...and let me tell you...This video is bad ass man. It is incredible and who ever the director Justice hired to make this video is, he's a genius.  It is very authentic and the pace of it is crazy.  Sometimes I am just in that bad mood when I just wanna walk around and tear shit up.  Ofcourse I can't, because there are allways consequences for ones actions.....So I stay smart and try to chill out.  This video is also pretty good to watch when you are feeling rebelious....It's pure chaos.  I am not promoting violence, because peace is a very good thing that the world needs....BUT, this video is THAT PIFF! AND SO IS THE SONG!  I also desperately want one of their leather jackets...They go hard!

Australia is an Amazing Film!

I saw Australia last night starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman.  If you are looking for a great night out with your friends or fam or whatever you will enjoy this film for sure.  It's on an epic level and has everything from action, adventure, romance, and even has politically correct themes in it that discuss race.  I really believe there should be more movies out there like Australia that discuss race and ignorance and histories that a lot of the world isn't aware of.  I really believe racism can be reduced by exposure.  Australia touches on a lot of issues of the European settlers and the Aborigines (Black native people to Australia).  This movie is packed with emotion and there is a lot of beautiful scenery of Australia through out the film.  Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman did fantastic work and the young Aborigine boy Brandon Walters really did his thing and captured the audience's hearts.  I wish I could get out of America and explore other cultures soon.  I definitely want to learn more about Aborigines because their culture seems very in touch with nature and though they have been marginalized in Australia and were previously forced to assimilate into European religion and culture they stay faithful to their culture.  I can't wait to get out and see this world man.  Its more than black and white and there's so much out there.  Check out Australia!

Up and Coming Emcee: Outasight

This man is SIIIIIIICK!  My homeboy Celsito put me on to this guy.  When I heard his track "New York State of Mind", I knew that Outasight has a real chance at being huge.  He's a New York native and he has an EP called "Employee of the Year".  He sings and raps and does a bit of in between.  He sounds similar to the guy in Maroon 5 except, he's an emcee and kind of ....cooler.... haha. He also has an album you can download called "Radio New York", which I really need to cop....He's got a good song on there called "GoodEvening".  You can get it his album for free on his myspace.  Myspace.com/iamoutasight

INCREDIBLE FREESTYLE!!!!

Yea...I know I'm totally O.D.-ing on KiD CuDi, but this is an amazing freestye you have got to see.  It's kinda old but I saw it again for the first time since the summer and I knew I had to post this.  This freestyle is straight from CuDi's dome and he's singing and rapping! I know it's been done before but this dude is so unique.  This video is one of the reasons I believe CuDi could be bigger than Kanye West himself.

TIME's Person of the YEAR

He was one of the most unlikely candidates for President when he started his campaign.  Look at this man now!  He's about to run the country.  Nothing and no one could hold him back.  Thank You, Barack Obama, for letting my future kids know they can do anything they aspire and dream to do.  You took the threats, the heat, the pain and still held your composure to make REAL CHANGE.  Now, you are the PERSON OF THE YEAR!

An Interview with Mr. West

This is a pretty cool interview with Kanye.  He discusses artists he listens to, his ultimate goals in making music, what keeps him going, and how he doesn't care about losing awards anymore after he lost someone way more important to him (his mother).  He also mentions one of my favorite artists that's coming out soon (KID CUDI).

Kid CuDi: Returns to Cleveland

Kid Cudi returns home to sign autographs, give out his mixtape, and perform.  He also talks about 50 Cent, and how 50 is a genuine dude and not as cokcy and evil as people think.  I allways kind of saw 50 Cent wasn't an evil dude, and I've been a big fan of his since Get Rich Or Die Tryin' no matter how wack people said he was or currently is.

My Favorite Haircut I EVER Had

I did this fall clothing photo shoot for the Source Magazine about a year and a half ago.  A friend of mine who I call my cousin hit me up and said I should do it.  I did it, but it never made the shelves due to some unfortunate circumstances.  This was around the time I was about to move from my home in Connecticut to the south.  I miss home a lot, but that is beside the point.  When I did the photo shoot I got this haircut for free.  The guy who did my haircut cut Jim Jones's hair, and a lot of other celebrities.  He was cool as hell....If only I could remember his name.  I would get my hair cut by him every time I visit New York City.  Here it is....Oh It says Adam V. with a bunch of crazy arrows and designs

Insane Graphics and Art

So a friend of mine from Atlanta who goes by the name of Krisis put up some crazy art on his Facebook.  I saw some of the pictures and I liked them a lot and thought they were out of this world.  I'm into a lot of stuff that is different from what people are used to, so naturally I felt I had to put this art on my blog.  These pictures are as my Moms said "phsycadellic".  Whatever that means..............   The first one is my background on my Mac book Pro...get like me....haha

check out Asher Roth

Yo this dude is a seriously good rapper.  He doesn't exactly look the part, but that doesn't really matter any more.  Hip hop is going in a direction where it's important to have the talent and this guy definitely has it.  He sounds similar to Eminem, although he is nothing like Em and has his own style and "I don't give a fuck" swag.  Asher Roth is headed for the top and you don't want to sleep on this dude.  Look up his mixtape "The Green House Effect" and download it for free.  Check out his blog thedailykush.com too.  He's one hilarious and intelligent rapper who went to college and is damn proud.

Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak is Great!

Yo before this album actually came out, around the time "Love Lockdown" dropped I thought this album was going to be extremely wack.  I take back all resentment of the creation of this album.  I believe it was necessary for Kanye to drop this album because all of the emotions the man was going through.  He is one very out-of-this-world and at the same time very down-to-earth artist.  He took the album in a very dark and dangerous direction that should be celebrated.  When I have my various ups and downs I bump 808's.  Kanye's soul is open for the world to receive, and I received this album very well and I think you will too.
